  •  January 25, 2021
     12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Overview of the Topic:

ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. ISO 45001 is a standard that provides a structured approach to risk management, internal auditing, employee participation and consultation and regulatory compliance. The parts of the system all work together as a data based system of checks and balances to monitor and maintain continuous improvement in all areas of your safety program- from developing your safety culture to regulatory compliance. We will hear from a local EHS Professional, Heather Vecchio from Atlas Copco on the benefits it has provided to their facility. The meeting will also provide time for round table discussion to ask questions and provide resources where to dig deeper into this standard.
