Presentation:
In preparation for the construction season in regard to fall protection and with the upcoming National Stand Down for Falls in May our Presenter, Jeremy Starr will provide discussion on general fall protection including anchor points, connecting devices and full body harnesses based on specific job function and need. This will include inspection of equipment to be used, fall rescue plans when using a PFAS, suspension trauma and new technology/equipment. Jeremy will dig a little deeper during the presentation into the new ANSI Class I & Class II SRL/SRD’s testing standards and new compliant equipment. He will wrap it up with OSHA’s push and focus on heat stress.
Presenter:
Jeremy is well known in NY and surrounding States for his expertise in safety equipment and support to safety professionals in both small and large businesses. Jeremy has recently taken on the role of Sr. Field Sales Manager with MSA MSAsafety.com. Prior to that Jeremy was the Principal Owner for Starr Safety for a number of years. Preceding that Jeremy was with Argus- Hazco and Premier Safety. Jeremy has a vast knowledge of safety gear, PPE, safety supplies and industry best practices.
