Please join us as Steven LaBarge, CHST, CRIS, Risk Control Consultant walks us through Post Injury Management.

Overview:

The presentation will begin with a discussion of worker safety, how work-related injuries can increase business costs and how the supervisor can better manage these costs through post-injury management.  This course will include best practices on the following objectives:

• Respond to employee accidents and injuries in a caring, non-judgmental fashion
• Know what to ask when an employee returns from the medical provider
• Understand their role in transitional duty and the benefits of bringing injured employees back to work
• Describe the role the supervisor plays in the injury management process

Steven has a wealth of knowledge in Construction, Energy and Marine activities and provides a variety of risk management services to multiple construction companies around the capital district through Traveler’s Insurance. Prior to Travelers, Steven worked as a construction health and safety manager in the field of semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
