SABIC, Selkirk, New York, Plant Tour

Join the Eastern New York Chapter of the ASSP on a plant tour of the SABIC facility located at 1 Noryl Ave, Selkirk, NY 12158.

We’ll start with soda/water and snacks.

Description:

SABIC’s Selkirk facility is a chemical/plastic manufacturing site producing SABIC’s Noryl™ product line of resin and plastics. This visit will feature a presentation providing an overview of the facility with a focus on their process operations. Additionally, the visit will include a walking tour of the chemical operations.

Notes for SABIC Visitors:

Enter the facility at Gate 1. Gate 1 is off of Route 32 (Feura Bush Road), across from the Owens Corning facility. Do not enter off of Creble Road–that is the wrong location. At Gate 1, visitors will be granted entrance and directed to the Visitor Parking.

The tour will be mostly outside with a fair bit of walking. Closed toe shoes and warm clothing/rain coats/umbrellas are recommended, depending on weather.

Please bring a valid ID, such as a driver’s license.
